In the 1980’s I was working in public relations as an account coordinator when I realized that my work wasn’t personally satisfying. I felt a longing to help people in emotional pain and after some soul searching, I began my training as a clinical social worker.
For my first 10 years as a therapist, I worked in community mental health in New York City. Since 1997, I have been working in private practice in southern New Hampshire.
I specialize in working with clients around issues of loss, grief, divorce and transition. I also work with clients on a variety of other issues including anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, the search for meaning, and spiritual growth. I work exclusively with adults over the age of 18.
I would describe my work with clients as a unique blend of psychological and spiritual perspectives aimed to help people transform their challenges into opportunities for growth.
