From the desk of Ashley Davis Bush:

I’d like to share some of my thoughts on being a therapist.  In the 1980’s I was working in public relations as an account coordinator when I realized that my work wasn’t personally satisfying.  I felt a longing to help people in emotional pain and after some soul searching, I began my training as a clinical social worker.

For my first 10 years as a therapist, I worked in community mental health in New York City.  Since 1997, I have been working in private practice in southern New Hampshire.  Right from the beginning, I realized what a privilege it is to accompany couples and individuals on their journeys.

I specialize in working with couples as well as individuals around issues of loss, grief, divorce and transition.  I work with clients on a variety of issues from anxiety, relationships and self-esteem to spiritual growth, coping with stress and finding inner peace.  I work exclusively with adults over the age of 18.

My work with couples is strongly based on Emotion Focused Couples Therapy (EFT).  I would describe my work with individuals as a unique blend of psychological and spiritual perspectives aimed to help people transform their challenges into opportunities  for growth.

 In Peace,   Ashley
